How Navbar Configuration works?

Navbar Configuration

The Navbar Configuration feature is now available in the Configuration section of the dashboard.


This feature allows publishers to create, edit, reorder, and remove navigation menu items directly from the dashboard, without requiring any developer assistance.

Note: Only Owner and Admin users have access to the Navbar Configuration section.




Accessing Navbar Configuration


Navigate to: Dashboard → Configuration → Navigation


Click Add to create a new navigation item.



Adding a Menu Item


Fill in the following fields:

Tab Name (Required)

Enter the name that should appear in the website's navigation bar.

Link (Optional)

Provide the URL for the menu item. You can use:

  • Internal website links
  • External website links

Select Parent Tab (Optional)

Choose an existing menu item to make the new item a child menu.

If no parent is selected, the item will be created as a top-level navigation item.

Open in New Tab (Optional)

Choose how the link should open:

  • Enabled: Opens the link in a new browser tab.
  • Disabled: Opens the link in the current browser tab.



Important: After making any changes, click Save to publish them on your website.

Once all the menu items are added, click Save for the changes to be visible on website



3. Dashboard | As a sub-menu item added to a child item


You can also add sub-menu item under a child item as shown below. Example,

  • Home -Parent item
  • Publive - Child category to "Home" parent item
  • Blog website - Sub-category to "Publive" child item

Note: Collapsing/expanding options for dropdown menu items, re-ordering of sub-menu items, deleting, editing menu items are possible
