How to enable IFTTT to automate share/post articles on social platforms

We can automate the process of sharing/post articles on social media platforms using IFTTT through RSS Feed. Below are the following steps for the same


Step 1


Create/ Sign-in to the IFTTT account and click create









Step 2


Click Add for "If This" as shown below



Step 3


Type RSS -> Select RSS Feed

Step 4


Select "New feed item"   




Step 5


Give the RSS feed URL in the Feed URL as shown below. It can be a 


Click Create Trigger


Step 6


Now, click Add to add the social platform in which the post needs to be shared



Step 7


Search for social platform and click the service available 


Here, we are adding Facebook service (Facebook Pages) 



Step 8


Select Create a link post  


Click Connect and sign in to the Facebook account





















Step 9


Click Add Ingredient in Link URL field and select EntryURL & any ingredients available -> Click Create Action -> Continue to next page 



For example, if you select Add ingredient, you can pick something like EntryTitle to show the title of the feed item in the post. Can add message if required but not mandatory. This will post the article url with the image thumbnail in the Facebook   


Step 10


Rename the service/applet if required and optionally enable notifications each time it runs, and then press Finish. 




Similar to Facebook, other social media platforms, can be enabled in the same way
