Smart Embed feature refers to the ability to display content from one website or application within another, allowing for a more visually appealing and interactive experience for users. It can be easily done by copy-paste the social posts link into the Editor of the PubLive Dashboard. When you paste the link of a social media post, the Smart embed automatically generates a preview of the webpage, showing its title, description, and image. This gives viewers a glimpse of the content before they decide to click on the link.

Smart embeds can also display other types of media, such as videos, audio players, interactive maps, slideshows, and more. They enhance the user experience by providing a more dynamic and engaging way to interact with content without leaving the website.

To get started, copy the social post link/URL and paste it into the editor

Copy the link to the social posts

How does this feature help Digital Publishers?

Increased Engagement: Smart embeds make content more visually appealing and interactive. When users encounter visually enticing previews, such as images, videos, or interactive elements, they are more likely to engage with the content and click on the link to view the full content. This increased engagement can lead to higher website traffic and more views for the publisher's content.

Improved User Experience: By providing additional context and information through rich previews, publishers can improve the overall user experience. Readers can quickly grasp what the content is about and decide whether they want to explore it further. This saves users' time and makes them more likely to consume the content.

Better Content Promotion: When publishers share their content on various platforms with smart embeds, it becomes easier for others to share that content with their audiences. The appealing previews make it more likely for people to share the content, leading to organic promotion and wider exposure.

Cross-Platform Compatibility: Smart embeds work across different devices and platforms, ensuring that the content is accessible and displayed optimally on various devices, including desktops, smartphones, and tablets.

SEO Benefits: Some smart embeds utilize metadata markup, like Twitter Cards, which can enhance search engine optimization (SEO). These metadata tags provide search engines with valuable information about the content, potentially improving its search rankings and visibility.

Media Support: Smart embeds can display various types of media, such as images, videos, audio players, maps, and slideshows. This versatility allows publishers to present their content in engaging ways that cater to different preferences.

Overall,  Smart embeds contribute to a more user-friendly and visually appealing online experience, making it easier for people to discover and engage with content from various sources.
