How to make any article as Featured Posts?

This document is designed to help publishers to feature their posts, an excellent way to highlight important content on your website. Featured posts ensures they gain more visibility and remain prominently displayed at the top of your site.


Steps to make the post as featured:


Step 1: Log In and Navigate to the Published Section

  • Log in to the PubLive Dashboard.


  • Navigate to Post -> Click Published section to view all your published articles.




Step 2:Select and Feature an Article

  • Choose the articles you want to feature.
  • Click on the Set as Featured Post option.


Step 3: Confirm Featured Status

  • Once marked as featured, the selected article will:

    • Appear with a blue asterisk in the Published section.
    • Automatically move to the Featured section of the dashboard.


Step 4: Manage Featured Post Visibility

  • Use the drag-and-drop functionality to rearrange the order of featured articles.
  • The priority numbering is automatically assigned when the user rearranges the items.
  • Click Save after making changes to ensure the updated order reflects on the website.


Note:

  •  A maximum of 20 featured posts can be displayed in the Featured Posts section on the website. Ensure to prioritize your articles accordingly.
  • Each featured post has a Delete and Preview option visible in the Featured section.
  • Deleting an article from the Featured section will not delete the article itself. It will only remove the post from the featured list, keeping it available in the Published section.


Best Practices:

  • Prioritize High-Quality Content: Feature articles that are well-researched, engaging, and valuable to your audience. Highlighting subpar content can diminish the effectiveness of the feature.
  • Regularly Update Featured Posts: Keep the featured section dynamic by rotating articles frequently. Showcase seasonal or trending content to maintain audience interest.
  • Align with Business Goals: Select articles that align with your website’s objectives, such as driving sales, increasing awareness, or promoting specific campaigns.
  • Use Engaging Visuals: Ensure featured articles have eye-catching thumbnails and titles to immediately capture visitor attention.
  • Track Performance: Use analytics tools to monitor the traffic and engagement metrics of featured articles. Optimize your selection based on these insights.

  • Trending Topics: Feature articles covering trending news, popular topics, or viral stories to boost traffic.

All featured posts will appear at the top of your website in the order specified in the Featured section of the dashboard. This allows you to prioritize and control which articles are most visible to your audience.
